What is Dating with Drinks?
Dating with drinks is a great singles event alternative to 3 minute speed dating. There's more chat, less speed and
a great selection of drinks rolled into one sociable dating evening.
How Does it Work?
The aim of a dating with drinks evening is to meet people, taste great drinks, learn a little and enjoy a fun evening out.
All guests taste a total of 6 drinks over the course of the evening, while meeting up to 25 guests of the opposite sex.
Guests mingle in groups of six, tasting a drink with each round, and guessing what they are drinking as part of a quiz.
After 15 minutes, men move round to the next group, and taste a different drink.
All guests have a score card, to make notes on the people they meet and who they would like to meet again,
and a quiz sheet to fill in throughout the evening. At the end of the evening, the quiz answers are revealed,
and guests hand in their score cards.
Any guests who has "tick" another guest has their email address sent on to that person in a post event email.
It is then up to the guests to contact each other and arrange to meet up again.
After the drinks dating session of the evening is over, guests continue mingling in the bar. Events are usually held on
Friday nights in late night bars or clubs, allowing guests to make the most of socialising with the people they have met.

Guests aren't expected to know anything about the drinks before they arrive.
There are a variety of events catering for wine fans, beer fans, cocktail or champagne fans.
Events are also bracketed into age ranges, and cater for the 20s-30s market and 40s-50s market.
