Beer<\/a> is one of the world’s oldest prepared beverages, dating back to the early Neolithic or 9500 BC. It is the most widely consumed alcoholic beverage in the world, and the third most popular drink after water and tea.<\/p>\n

The English word ‘beer’ comes from the Latin\u00a0 word ‘bibere’ which means ‘to drink’.\u00a0 Beer is 90% water, with the rest being a combination of malted barley, hops and yeast.
