But even if you\u2019re asked \u201chow long have you been single\u201d just answer and move on, no need to give the guy a full run down of your past relationships and their outcomes.<\/p>\n
Leave the designers at home. <\/b>You may love your Dior handbag and your Christian Louboutin\u2019s but\u00a0 they scream high maintenance. Try to tone it down a bit and keep shopping talk to a minimum.<\/p>\n
Try not to be anti-men. <\/b>Even if you\u2019re joking. When you\u2019re on a first date, they don\u2019t need to be (reminded) told how useless they are. Or have a lecture about women\u2019s rights. So just try to hold that back until at least the forth or fifth date.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t play the have you ever game. <\/b>Have you ever cheated, have you ever slept with your boss\u2026etc. Just don\u2019t. It\u2019s not a therapy session and it\u2019ll probably throw up some answers that you just don\u2019t want to know.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t bore them with complaints. <\/b>Driver cut you up on the way? Maybe you received shocking service in the supermarket. Truth is, your date doesn\u2019t care. Keep complaints to yourself.<\/p>\n
