We all start dating for different reasons, whether it be to find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with or whether it\u2019s to find someone on your level to just have fun with. But what\u2019s important when you meet someone is that you make sure that you\u2019re both on the same page. Otherwise, it\u2019s going to end in heartbreak for at least one of you.<\/p>\n

So here are some top tips for understanding whether a guy is NOT looking for a serious relationship\u2026<\/p>\n

  1. He doesn\u2019t make future plans. <\/b>We\u2019re not expecting a guy to be planning our wedding just a few dates down the line but if you hit it off with someone, then it\u2019s normal to start looking to the future. Of course there could be a good reason why he\u2019s not able to make firm plans for the future (maybe his job isn\u2019t your traditional 9-5 or he has plans with friends) but if he fails to explain that then its time to move on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. He\u2019s cagey around his phone. <\/b>Now, I should say, I like to keep my phone private, not for any dodgy reason but because it\u2019s mine and that\u2019s that. However, if you find that he doesn\u2019t respond to messages or phone calls, and only when he wants something, then he\u2019s probably not interested.<\/p>\n

    3. He only does things with you last minute. <\/b>I don\u2019t think this needs much explaining, if he only does things with you on a last minute basis then chances are that he\u2019s bored and you\u2019re the only one around. It doesn\u2019t mean that he\u2019s actually in to you.<\/p>\n

    4. He\u2019s friendly to you, but also to everyone else.<\/b><\/p>\n

    You might think he’s overly friendly with you, but fact is, he’s just a friendly, social, outgoing guy. If you see that his behaviour is no different with you than with any other person, that’s a clear sign that he doesn’t have any particular or special interest in you.<\/p>\n

    5. Bad body language. <\/b>If he avoids eye contact, sits with his body away from you, doesn’t try to keep the conversation going, or generally maintains a distance from you, you can take all of these as signs that he’s not interested.<\/p>\n
