Dating is hard, we all know that but there are somethings that you really should and shouldn’t do. This is a two part post where we will go through the do’s and don’t’s of first dates. If you’ve anything to add, please leave a comment below or tweet us @urbansocialcom<\/a><\/p>\n

Do stay grounded.\u00a0<\/b>YES it\u2019s good to be excited but stay realistic, I don\u2019t want to sound negative but if you lower your expectations a bit then a good date will be a good surprise. \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Do be willing to do something new. <\/b>Dinner and a date may seem like the normal way todo things but be open to new ideas.<\/p>\n

Do wear flats. <\/b>Yes heels are super sexy but you can never be sure where your first date will lead you and the last thing you want is blisters. Not to mention if you\u2019re not used to walking on heels, it\u2019ll show. Flats will have you prepared for anything the night will bring.<\/p>\n

Do wear sexy underwear.<\/b> I\u2019m not suggesting that you let your date see your sexy underwear, especially not on date number one but by wearing super sexy undies, you\u2019ll feel super sexy. It\u2019ll give you confidence and if you DO end up getting busy, you\u2019ll avoid any Bridget Jones moments.<\/p>\n

Do pop a toothbrush and some floss in your bag. <\/b>This may sound a little OTT but if you\u2019re going out for dinner, you may want to freshen up a little bit after you\u2019ve finished. Especially, if you\u2019ve had the garlic prawns or creamed spinach. Plus, if you end up spending the night, you\u2019re well prepared.<\/p>\n

Get over pre-date jitters with a friend. <\/b>Call you friend before you go on a date to get some wise words and also to calm you down before you meet your guy.<\/p>\n

Do add him on Facebook. <\/b>Why not! You\u2019ve already stalked his page anyway, right?<\/p>\n

Do act interested in what he is saying<\/b>. No one wants to go on a first date with someone whose not interested. If you don\u2019t like where the date is headed, end it early<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
