And that&#8217;s just those who were\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">successful<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">in their quests\u2014over half viewed the gym as a hookup venue.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sex toy and lingerie store, Anne Summers surveyed over 2,000 people with 45 per cent <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">of women saying that the cross trainer is the machine of choice. Whilst men prefer the lat pull down machine so that they can show off their biceps and pecs. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">While flirting with a personal trainer might lead to steamy fun in the shower (20 per cent say they\u2019ve gotten it on with their trainer), your best luck comes by turning on your dating app.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Over 80 per cent of gym goers said they used a dating app at the gym to find someone they liked.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">And it\u2019s not all Grindr, only 31 per cent of people hooking up in gyms are <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">gay; 49 per cent\u00a0are\u00a0straight and the rest bi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">In between looking for their latest hook up, people are actually working out at the gym, which many suggest is improving their sex life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Squats are said to help people have sex standing up and doggy style, with 67 per cent of regular female gym goers claiming 30 a day made them better in bed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">A\u00a0further 45 per cent of women say that lifting light 5kg weights once a day for 15 minutes gives them better orgasms with their partner, as they are able to lift and control their core body weight during sex.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">So tell us, have you ever had sex in the gym?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, if you ever needed any more motivation to get to the gym \u2013 this could be it.
