Well, we\u2019ll have you know we\u2019re actually incredibly complex creatures with a myriad of incredibly complex thoughts running through our minds at any given time…<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only joking. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\u2019re always thinking about boobs. Almost constantly. And on a first date, in between those thoughts, we\u2019re certainly thinking the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> The number one reason we\u2019re sat together in this trendy, slightly too expensive wine bar is because you looked smokin\u2019 hot in your profile picture. Superficial? Perhaps. But it\u2019s the truth.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> As the awkwardness abates and we settle into a classic first date conversation, we\u2019ve already checked out your cleavage, several times. And when it\u2019s your round, we\u2019ll have another look at the back of you as you walk to the bar. Sorry, not sorry.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Now that we\u2019ve established that we\u2019re spending the first portion of the first date checking you out, feel free to aim some flattery back at us. We like to hear if you\u2019ve noticed that we\u2019re bringing our A-game.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> If we ask you to \u201clook over there\u201d or \u201cwhat do you think of that?\u201d and point at something in the bar, we\u2019re almost certainly looking at your boobs again. We\u2019re so sorry.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> We will notice if we\u2019re the ones reaching for our wallets constantly. Please at least offer to go Dutch and split the bill. We\u2019re skint too, you know.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> We might appear the epitome of confidence, but we\u2019re actually fraught with first date nerves. Please pretend you find our stories interesting and our jokes amusing. If you could, that would be swell.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> If you are glued to your smartphone, we\u2019ll notice. And we don\u2019t want to hear about any crazy emotional drama. There\u2019s a reason we don\u2019t watch Hollyoaks.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> If we do or say something embarrassing, please don\u2019t Tweet about it. Of course we Internet-stalked you before the date, and your number of followers is frankly intimidating.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> In between thinking about, and looking at, your boobs, we\u2019ve probably already imagined the rest of our lives together. House, car, kids, dog, gerbil, caravan holidays, the lot. Does that make us soppy? You betcha.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> When the first date comes to an end, we would quite like a clue as to how it went. Did we do good? Do you want to do this again? Maybe a quick snog would be a good hint. You know, if you want.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> If we\u2019re not feeling that spark of physical attraction when we first meet, then chances are we won\u2019t be looking for a second date. But we\u2019d expect the same treatment from you. That being said\u2026<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

12.<\/strong> We\u2019re afraid of getting hurt, so please, if you don\u2019t like us, let us down gently.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
