We\u2019ve compiled the top three reasons to help you avoid them in future.<\/p>\n<p><b>Over-sharing.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Your first date, whilst is an exercise to get to know each other better, should be light and easy going. The last thing that your date wants to know is all the nitty gritty details of your life. Steer clear of sharing too much information about your home life, family, friends, health and work.<\/p>\n<p><b>Don\u2019t talk about your ex!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Remember that you\u2019re on a date with the view to start a new relationship. He doesn\u2019t need to know about your ex and what your relationship was like. He especially doesn\u2019t want to know why you broke up. The moment you start talking about your ex is the moment that you actually highlight that you\u2019re not ready for a new relationship.<\/p>\n<p><b>Don\u2019t be negative.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A first date isn\u2019t the time to discuss problems or hang-ups. Dating should be fun, exciting and adventurous.
