“Never<\/i> ask the waiter for anything yourself.\u201d – apparently the man – whether it\u2019s a date, husband, father or brother – should always do the ordering. The only exception is if you were to drop a knife, then you are allowed to ask the waiter for a new one.<\/p>\n
Also women are advised to think carefully about any fruit that they may order with the likes of apple and bananas likely to “cause some embarrassment.\u201d<\/p>\n
And whilst we\u2019re talking fruit, if you ever wondered how to properly eat a cherry then fear not – this article provided the answer. “Cherries should be put in the mouth whole with the stones carefully placed on a spoon.” Other large fruit such as plums “should be dissected in the dish and the stones placed at the side.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another thing that women should avoid is tipping your soup plate towards <\/i>you when you eat. This ladies, is the height of bad manners.<\/p>\n
