I am caring, honest and committed. My friends say I am fun, trustworthy and good to be with. I enjoy talking with people, sharing meals and wine. I like knowing people, how they feel, what they think, who they are, and for them to know me. I like to give and to share and to care and be cared for.

I like most music, but listen to more classical than house. I like film, but prefer theatre. I like a takeaway, but prefer a quiet restaurant or better still cooking with someone else. I enjoy thinking and reading: current affairs more than celebrities' affairs and novels more than soaps. I like wine and whisky but not beer and vodka. I am fit but not very sporty. I run occasionally but cycle frequently. I like to relax in bed with a good book, but would prefer to be relaxing next to someone else.

I have an exciting and varied job which is based in Cambridge but frequently takes me abroad. I enjoy the challenges and opportunities and am my own boss, which gives me the chance to organise work around the things I want to do.
