I am likely not whom you envisioned you would take home to mother. But then, considering my own mother's taste (bless her), that might not be all bad. I am new to London and would like to take advantage of the chance to meet people who wouldn't necessarily collide with my social world. A few pertinents about myself: I am a wanderer and have lived/worked/played over the much of the world. I am making a sincere attempt to ground myself for awhile, but I am a free spirit and appreciate others of the same breed. That said, I do actually have a job - career, more accurately - that I love and wouldn't trade for anything. I edge towards tree-hugging, but am pragmatic at heart. In my spare time I am reading a book, out with friends (until far later than I should be), planning my next scuba diving/paddling/sailing/lazing-in-the-sun/generally-getting-myself-in-trouble trip, sometimes just staring at the wall when the alarm goes off too early. A few pertinents about anyone who has read this far: Must be open-minded with an interest in things beyond what is in their direct line of vision. I entertain no fantasies of white picket fences and a new 4x4 in the garage, so please no expectations beyond meeting new, interesting people. Have a passion for something. I don't really care what it is. Basketweaving, maybe? Sanity, or at least not obvious mental baggage is always good.
