This is the part that always fills me with cold dread. Having to produce your own PR. What would most people say about me? Smart but has little patience for the truly dumb. Which at times includes himself. Good looking but has a thing for fitted shirts which in a bloke over thirty who isn't carrying a pie/beer-belt around his waist gives people the impression that he might be gay. Work mate admitted as much to me the other night. Restless and loves keeping busy. Seasoned traveller with a burnt out passport and the scars to prove it. Loves big nights out and nights in with my friends. Especially if it's at my place and I'm doing the cooking. There's only so much veggy/vegan swill a man can take. And no, I don't have a problem with veggy/vegans. Through a curious quirk of fate most of my mates are leaf-eaters/memebers of the Pale Army. A film nut who would like to at least introduce someone to a good well done flick without them falling asleep. (The Motorcycle Diaries IS a good movie!!). Has a sharp sense of humour which could be best described as hee-hawing sceptic/school of Spaced. Chills out with a good read, good pile of music and bottle of Rioja though friends scoff and wail at my love of painfully dated sci-fi.
Generous even for a scotsman who believes that you can't take it with you. Keeps up with current affairs, politics and has nothing but contempt for the plastic venal 'Hello' culture. Posh Spice will burn in her own very special level of hell!!
A bit of a green nut who cycles everywhere though I never bore people into an early grave about 'the state of the planet' like all the other cheerless doom-mongers.
Biggest hobby is photography which has on occasion driven my mates to distraction (Can you please get that chuffing thing out of my face before I park it up your arse!!).
All said I'm good fun to be around and don't screw people around because, well, life's too short and unless the the spaceship lands and tells us something different this is our only shot at it.
