I am 59 year old man who lives in Cheshire.
I am confident outgoing and broadminded with a wicked, dry sense of humour. As to looks, I like to think that I am reasonably attractive, like to dress smartly, (although at weekends in the garden that doesn't necessarily apply)clean shaven and not in bad nick for my age.
I work in the nuclear industry as a project manager and this involves quite a lot of travel so I really appreciate my home. I live in a very small village 5 miles north of Chester in a cottage which dates in part back to the 17th century. The village only has 12 houses but also has a lovely medieval churh and a Jacobean manor house.
Things I enjoy, classical music, choral music, (I sing in a male voice choir as a top tenor) sport (mainly watching) I have recently taken up golf, old cars (I own one) a quiet pint in the local, antique auctions and fairs, travelling, (23 years in the RAF gave me itchy feet)
walking, either in the country or along a beach, going out on a Sunday in my old car and finding somewhere different for lunch or a new walk.
I have four children three boys and a girl and four grandsons who I spoil rotten when I see them which is not often as they live in and around York.
I am looking to find someone who enjoys similar things to me but who has her own interests and opinions so that we can complement each other and see where life leads us.
