About Lyndon

Fun-loving, honest and optimistic, I love a good old chat over a meal or a drink or two. I also enjoy the opportunity to get out and try something new - which is always more enjoyable with a good friend. I’m independent and trustworthy, but would like to meet someone who could be a good/best friend. I like those with a 'give as good as they get' attitude, who are witty, pragmatic, down to earth and fun loving. Ideally they have an ‘get up and go’ attitude and love the adventure of the new as much as the comfort of the familiar.<br><br>I think I'm pretty down to earth, but with a little ambition thrown in. I would love to spend the summer renovating a house in France - with my partner - overlooking rolling countryside... relaxing at the end of the day on the veranda with an empty bottle of wine on the table; travel to new destinations; learn German (...properly - one of those unfinished interests from school - I went down the science route). I'm an optimistic-realist, am open minded but have my own opinions. Motivated to keep learning and pushing the boundaries of my experiences but also appreciate what I've got and what I can gain from others. (People I have admired have always inspired me into new and novel directions, art appreciation, languages, culture etc. which I love and am grateful to them for) <br><br>Qualities in partners which make rise to their challenge are: thoughtfulness; intelligence; self-belief and the ability to inspire others; humour; respect and forgiveness; inventive & innovative; quick witted; passion; good talker; logical thinker; optimism; quick to see the best in others; spontaneous; affectionate; romantic (to inspire mine); adventurousness and a slight extrovert. <br>
