Well...if forced to choose one word to sum myself up (which is never easy when you have a tendency to write sentences longer than Jane Austen) I guess I would have to say "chameleon". If want to bring over a bottle of wine and stay up talking until the vampires go to sleep about everything from Ridley Scott to Luc Besson, from Behavioural Psychology to Italian politics, from the feeling you get when you taste a really great Pommard in a dank, dark cellar in Beaune to the benefits of Marmite toast as a hangover cure, you may have stumbled on the right girl (or just a person who flouts all punctuation and syntax rules). I've also spent the past few years teaching out in Italy, so if you're looking for someone with a lorry-load of patience who doesn't mind being laughed at in order to stop students from being publicly massacred for saying things like "Sorry teacher, I am a retard" ("ritardo" means late in Italian), then you've knocked on the right (classroom) door.
